City of Detroit

The City
of Detroit is located in the southeastern part of Michigan State and is
well-known for its automotive industry. It is a big city with the population
of about one million, and is also known as the home of popular music's "Motown
Sound", which flourished throughout the 60s and 70s. On September 21, 1960, Toyota City and Detroit became Sister Cities. Since then, the exchange of goodwill missions, high school students and other programs on a people-to-people level have helped to deepen mutual understanding and ties of friendship. Details about the City of Detroit can be found on its official web site. Link: City of Detroit Official Web Site |
