TOYOTA STADIUM Opened in July, 2001

The newest facilities in a natural setting. A stadium designed especially for ball games, opened in July,2001.
The year 2001 saw the completion of Toyota City's new stadium, the inauguration of which was one of the major commemorative events celebrating 50 years as a municipality. Built in accordance with FIFA's guidelines for stadium construction, the stadium is ideally suited for football games as well as for training. After 2002, it will become the new home ground of the Nagoya Grampus Eight J-League football team, and will also be used for both international and amateur games. Natural grass is used on the pitch.

Field has natural turf for top class international ball games.




All Weather Stadium

Implementing European-style spectator seating on a 38-degree grade, and a dome that can open or close in 50 minutes. A simple roof which can cover the field is being planned to create an all-weather stadium.
