National Population Census
The population census will be carried out nationwide and every person living in Japan on October 1st must fill out the Census form.

Have you finished filling out the Census form?
- In the beginning of October, census takers assigned by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications will collect the survey sheets at your residence. It is also possible to send it by post.

Fill out the form with a black pencil
- All people living in Japan are obliged to answer the Census form. Please answer the survey questions using a black pencil.

All information contained in the Census form will be kept strictly confidential and protected.
- The information will be used only for statistical purposes.
- Census takers have confidentiality obligation and must protect private information.
- Personal information will be kept strictly confidential and protected. Census takers cannot verify personal data.

The result of the census will be used as a basis for the improvement of policies and urban development projects.
- Your answers will be a valuable source of information for the improvement of policies in areas such as child welfare, care and medical assistance for the elderly, among others. Therefore, we would like to know your status on October 1.

If you have not received the Census form or if you have questions about it, please, do not hesitate to contact the Toyota City National Population Census Office at the City Hall. In addition, if you have any question about how to fill it out or have any opinion about the census, please contact the National Census Call Center.

Traffic safety: free mechanic inspection for your car
In order to guarantee traffic safety and avoid accidents, professional mechanics will teach you how to make basic inspections and maintenance of your car. Date: October 9 (Sat) from 10 am to 2 pm (not canceled in case of light rain). Place: west parking lot of Jusco, Toyota branch (close to the recycle station). Participants: drivers who have cars made in Japan (including light vehicles and recreational vehicles - RVs). Number of participants: 150 vehicles on a first-come, first served basis (on the day of the event, please go directly to the place). Fee: not charged (participants will receive a small gift from Jusco). Additional information: as an anticrime measure, it will also be possible to change the screw of your number plate for antitheft ones. In addition, mechanics will also check if child seats are properly fixed. For children, there will be distribution of balloons and fishing of yoyo-balloons. Let’s learn how to prepare "futomaki zushi" (rice and sea weed roll)
Date: October 16 (Sat) from 9 am to 3 pm. Place: Sokakan Koryukan. Participation: open to everyone. Number of participants: 12 people (first-come, first-served basis). Lecturer: member of the Toyota Silver Human Resource Center (“Toyota Silver Jinzai Center”). Fee: \1,000 (materials included). Necessary items: apron, bandanna.
