Applications for Toyota City scholarships and educational loans
From June 1 (Wed), Toyota City Hall will be distributing the application forms for scholarships and loans at the School Services Division, branch and sub-branch offices, and at the Municipal Certificate Issuance Service Counter (T-Face building). In case of application for extension, a separate sheet will be sent by post. Submitted documents will not be returned. Applications / information: applications should be submitted directly or sent by post from June 7 (Tue) to June 22 (Wed) to the School Services Division (ZIP 471-8501, Nishi-machi 3-60). 1) Scholarship: students that attend Senior High schools, technical colleges or vocational training schools (advanced courses of at least 3 years) in the fiscal year 23 and fulfill the following conditions are eligible to apply: (1) students with outstanding academic results that are facing financial difficulties to attend the school; (2) students' parents / guardians should be living in Toyota City for more than 1 year; (3) person of good conduct and health condition. Number of acceptance: 35 students. Monthly stipend: 8,000 yen. Repayment: it is not necessary to return the amount received.

2) Educational loan: students attending universities, junior colleges, vocational training schools (courses of more than 2 years) that fulfill the same requirements written above in No.1. Number of acceptance: 22 students. Annual value: 400,000 yen. Repayment: students will have to reimburse the amount one year after graduation. The period for repayment will be twice of the loan period.
