Let’s study Japanese and improve our communication skills!
The Toyota International Association - TIA will be offering the following Japanese language courses for foreigners. For detailed information please contact the TIA at (0565) 33.5931.

-Alpha Japanese Language Course
When: May 9 to August 1, every week on Sundays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Course: classes taught by volunteers, according to the students’ levels (4 classes). Tuition fee: 1,500 yen (textbook paid separately). Applications: from May 9 (Sun), 10:30 am at TIA.

-First steps in Japanese
When: May 16 to late September, every week on Sundays from 3 pm to 5 pm. Course: basic level classes taught by volunteers. Tuition fee: 1,000 yen (textbook paid separately). Applications: from May 16 (Sun) from 3 pm at TIA.

Intermediate Japanese language classes
This intermediate Japanese language course aims at providing opportunity for foreigners to improve their language skills and help them find a new job. The course will be taught by specialized professors and students will be divided into 2 classes. Period: from May 10 (Mon) to August 6 (Fri) every week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Place: Employment Support Room (T-Face 9F). Eligibility: foreigners that are looking for jobs. Number of participants: about 10 students per class. Tuition fee: free of charge (textbooks are charged). Farmers’ Market
Date: May 8 (Sat) from 9 am to 1 pm. Place: Toyota Stadium, surrounding area of the south parking lot. Contents: direct sale of vegetables & eggs; selling of pickles, artifacts, “goheimochi”; events such as quizzes, etc. Information: Agricultural Affairs Division (0565-34.6640).
