| Changes in garbage disposal | |||||||||||||||||||||
(1) Dangerous garbage (lighters, spray cans, cassette gas) were included as a new category
- Do not forget to punch a hole on spray cans and metal cylinders outside the house and far from fire. Metal caps should be disposed as metallic garbage and plastic caps as plastic containers & packing. Disposal site These items can be disposed by putting them in the basket for bottles (blue baskets) located at Recyclable materials’ Collection Station (except in case of Umetsubo-cho, Horai-cho, Wakabayashi Higashi-cho) or on the days designated for Recyclable Resources. - When disposing cosmetic bottles, empty and rinse them well. (3) Items not collected by the City Hall - air-conditioners, TVs, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, drying machines: City Hall does not collect these items. You should contact a home electric appliances store or retail shop where these services are offered. | Japanese Language Course “Nihongo Koza” | |||||||||||||||||||||
| The TIA - Toyota International Association will offer a Japanese course from April 9 to September 17, 2011 every Saturday from 9:30 am to 12 pm (there will be no classes during the April 29th to May 8th holidays and mid-august holidays). Place: Toyota Global Square (Industrial & Culture Center 3F). Eligibility: foreigners that live in Toyota and neighboring towns (it is not possible to attend classes with children). Program: Total of 20 classes that will be taught by specialized instructors and divided into 4 levels (introduction & beginners courses). Number of participants: 20 people per class. Tuition fee: 10,000 yen plus textbook (up to 3,000 yen). Application & information: from March 26 (Sat) from 10 am directly at TIA (first-come, first-served basis). Tel.: (0565) 33-5931. |
