| Let's make "Okoshimono"! |
| "Okoshimono" is a traditional Japanese steamed rice cake offered to "Hina" dolls during the "Doll's Festival". Date: February 27 (Sun) from 11 am to 2 pm. Place: Kira Toyota, cooking room (at Industrial & Cultural Center). Participants: foreigners living or working in Toyota City. Number of participants: 20 people, on a first-come, first-served basis. Fee: 300 yen (for pre- school children it is free of charge). Things to bring: apron, hand towel. Applications: from February 5 (Sat) at the Toyota International Association (0565-33.5931). The TIA is also accepting applications for Japanese citizens who can join the event as volunteers. |
| Toyota Family Support Center: Amazing Magic Show |
| Date: February 28 (Mon) from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Place: "Toyota Kosodate Sogo Shien Center", Matsuzakaya building, 9F. Participants: parents/guardians & children who are members of the Family Support Center. Non-members interested in the event can also participate. Number of participants: 40 people. Date: from February 5 (Sat) to March 13 (Sun) from 9 am to 5 pm (closed on Mondays. If Monday is a national holiday, it will be open). Place: Toyota City Museum of Local History. Exhibition contents: the museum's collection of "Hina" dolls & accessories. Entrance: free of charge.
